Presentation, field trip and discussion regarding the Town’s Open Space program past, present and future to include goals, funding and management of properties.

A public comment period will not be included with this item.

ACTION: Council action is not anticipated.

Summary:

At the request of the Town Council, the Land Management and Acquisition Committee will present an update on the Greening of Falmouth and how it relates to the Open Space program in place. A slideshow presentation will outline how it all began, how it has evolved and the possible future of the program. The Council will tour several open space properties throughout town and reconvene at Town Hall for discussion.

Supporting documents are attached and will be part of the overall presentation.
