Order to authorize the Town Manager to execute documentation to allow Maine Audubon to install up to four (4) 20’ x 22’ photovoltaic panels on its property for energy production and educational programming purposes.

A public comment period will be included with this item (5 minutes).

ACTION: Council action is anticipated.

Summary:

Maine Audubon is seeking Town approval to install up to four (4) 20’ x 22’ photovoltaic panels on property next to the barn along its access road (Gilsland Farm Road) for energy production and educational programming purposes.

This property was deeded to Maine Audubon with various deed restrictions. A Partial Release document signed by the Town from 1981 includes permission to install “other structures” as long as “written consent" is obtained from the Town of Falmouth.
