At their October 2, 2012 meeting, the Planning Board unanimously approved proposed amendments to their Rules of Procedure. Town Council approval of the proposed changes is required prior to the amendments becoming effective. Changes being proposed include the following: describing a process for electing a temporary Chair; stating the minimum number of Board members necessary to establish a meeting quorum; describing a process for identifying whether a Board member has a conflict of interest; and stating the minimum number of affirmative votes needs to approve an application.
