The buyer of the Pleasant Hill Fire Station has requested the Town work with him to execute a land swap with the owners of abutting property identified as Tax Map U69-069, such land swap to be generally similar to what is depicted on the attached sketch plan.
The abutting property is currently under contract with a buyer who is interested in the land swap. The swap will benefit the Town, the buyer of the Fire Station and the current and future owner(s) of the abutting property.
If the Town Council authorizes the land swap, the Town will apply to the Planning Board for a subdivision amendment associated with the Stapleford and Stonecrest Drive neighborhood. We anticipate a closing can occur between all parties prior to the end of the December. |
