The Community Development Committee (CDC) has finalized its concept recommendations regarding the implementation of aspects of the 2005 Route One Study.
At its January 10th meeting the Council gave feedback on setting maximum footprint limits along Route One.
Since this meeting the CDC has:
- conducted an outreach effort to Route One business and the community at large;
- executed a survey to which 332 people responded; and
- incorporated the Council's and survey feedback into its September 20, 2010 memo.
The Council is asked by the CDC to review and endorse this updated memo, so the CDC can begin work with staff to prepare the necessary zoning amendment language. When complete, this language will be brought back by the CDC to the Council for further review and consideration.
