Summary:
Community Development Department staff has collaborated with the Public Works and Finance departments and Town Manager to develop this fee/guarantee update. Please find attached Councilor Libby's introduction letter and a memo prepared by Director of Long Range Planning, Theo Holtwijk, which is limited to those recommendations and requires Council approval. Staff also prepared a memo that reviews all recommendations for each of the nine fees reviewed. The other recommendations speak to internal Town operations. Attached to this summary memo is the proposed new Fee Schedule as well as a detailed background report that staff assembled and used to discuss options and prepare recommendations. No
comments were received at the public hearings held by LPAC or Town Council on these proposed amendments. Staff recommends an effective date for these amendments of January 1, 2009.
