The Council discussed a zoning amendment at the February 12 Workshop that would separate the treatment of commercial schools from retail establishments, create a definition for commercial school and add the use to the Business Professional (BP) District with the restriction of no more than 2,000 square feet of net leasable area. The term net leasable area would also be defined in the ordinance. Councilor Payne introduced the amendment at the February 25, 2008, meeting and the public hearing was held March 24, 2008. |
