Review the Tidewater LLC and Tidewater Foundation proposal to develop a Learning Center and other uses and to consider an order which will adopt recommendations by Councilors assigned to work on this project, such order to be in the form of a memorandum of understanding between the Town of Falmouth and Tidewater LLC. (Public comment will be accepted and encouraged)
Summary:
Councilors Wrobleski and Goggin have worked with the Town Attorney and staff in an effort to amend various governing documents associated with this project that will accomplish the goals of the Council and accommodate the request of the property owners and other interested parties. They have met several times and have presented an update in at the March 18, 2008 Council workshop. The Councilors assigned to work on this project have developed a memorandum of understanding which is attached along with other background documentation.
