This is an opportunity for members of the public to address the Council on matters which are not part of the meeting agenda.
Order to appoint election clerks.
Order to appoint Councilor Bonny Rodden as liaison to the Open Space Committee.
Order to approve the minutes of the regular meeting of January 28, 2008.
Order to approve the minutes of the special meeting of February 12, 2008.
Report from Council Committees and liaisons regarding updates on assignments.
Report from the Appointments Committee and order relative to filling various vacancies on Boards and Committees.
Public Hearing and order to adopt a new food service establishment license/victualer's for Rite Aid Corporation at 33 Depot Road in Falmouth, Maine.
Order to increase fees (trash bag costs) to support the "pay as you throw" solid waste disposal program.
Order to approve a supplemental appropriation from undesignated fund balance for the "pay as you throw" solid waste disposal program.
Introduction relative to amending Chapter 17, Traffic and Motor Vehicles.
Introduction to adopt an Emergency Management Ordinance.
Introduction of Zoning Ordinance Amendment concerning Commercial and Private Schools in certain districts.
Introduction relative to the adoption of a new General Assistance Ordinance (replacing all language in chapter 6 of the Code of Ordinance), and adoption of state dollar amounts for maximum assistance.
Introduction to amend the Code of Ordinances that will create a standing Energy Committee.
Report and presentation on school consolidation efforts in Falmouth.
Order to approve a supplemental appropriation from undesignated fund balance for a new local home heating fuel assistance program.
Order to go into executive session pursuant to (1) 1 M.R.S.A. § 405(6)(C) for the discussion or consideration of the condition or use of real property or interests therein because premature disclosure of information would prejudice the competitive or bargaining position of the Town and (2) 1 M.R.S.A. § 405(6)(E) for consultation with the Town's attorney concerning the Town's legal rights and responsibilities concerning the Tidewater Farms matter because premature general public knowledge would place the Town at a substantial disadvantage.
