BOARD OF SELECTMEN November 25, 2002
The meeting was called to order at 5:00 p.m. Present were Selectmen John Tuffy, Chair, Elizabeth Sullivan, and Rocco Longo, Town Manager. Andre Martecchini was absent.

There was no one present under Open Forum.
LIQUOR LICENSE RENEWALS – RENEWAL CERTIFICATIONS
The Board voted favorably to renew the following Liquor Licenses for 2003:
Hicks Point Ventures, Inc. d/b/a/ Bennett’s General Store
McNandes Enterprises Inc. d/b/a Duxbury General Store
Duxbury Veterans Club
Duxbury Wine & Spirits, Inc.
Tsang’s Café
La Maison Du Vin
The Milepost Tavern Restaurant, Inc.
Millbrook Market, Inc.
Osborn’s Country Store
Winsor Restaurant Groups, Inc. d/b/a The Winsor House Inn & Restaurant
Sun Tavern Restaurant d/b/a The Sun Tavern
The Wine Depot
The Village at Duxbury Homeowners Cooperative d/b/a The Village at Duxbury
Thomas Bissett d/b/a Wildflower Café.
PLEASE NOTE:
The liquor license renewal for Johnson Turf & Golf Management Inc. d/b/a North Hill will be placed on next week’s agenda.
Renewal Certification
Mr. Tuffy noted that approval letters have been received from Chief William Harriman, Richard MacDonald and Gloria Williams stating they are in agreement with the renewal of these licenses.
Mr. Tuffy moved to certify that the Board has determined the premises described in all of the 2003 Renewal applications approved by the Town and forwarded to the Alcoholic Beverages Control Commission are now occupied, used or controlled by the licensee, and will be on January 1, 2003. Mrs. Sullivan “aye”. Mr. Tuffy “aye”. The motion passed 2-0.
All Licenses that are renewed by the Board of Selectmen are subject to the following:
All unpaid taxes (Real Estate as well as Personal Property) must be paid to the Town of Duxbury before the license will be issued to the owner.
