Community Preservation Committee Meeting

The Community Preservation Committee (CPC) held a meeting in the Mural Room, Lower Level of the Town Hall on Thursday, March 29, 2007 beginning at 8:00 a.m. Members present included Chairman Holly Morris, Nancy Bennett, Tony Kelso, Brendan Keohan, Pat Loring, and George Wadsworth. Sarianna Seewald was absent. Also present was Joe Grady, Conservation Administrator.

WRIGHT BUILDING – TOM DALEY
Tom Daley, DPW Director reported on the finances of the Wright Building construction project and the remaining work on the project.
HOUSING
Diane Bartlett, Chairman of the Local Housing Partnership updated the CPC on projects the Local Housing Partnership is working on.
COMMUNITY PRESERVATION COALITION – STUART SAGINOR
Mr. Saginor updated the committee on what the Coalition is doing and on the Coalition’s membership program. The CPC will discuss whether to become a member at the next CPC meeting.
OTHER BUSINESS
Ms. Loring handed out an example of policy guidelines from Georgetown for the committee to review at its next meeting.
Mr. Wadsworth reported that the Planning Board voted John Bear as the designee for the Planning Board on the CPC as of July 1, 2007.
ADMINISTRATIVE MATTERS
The CPC signed expense bills.
