Community Preservation Committee Meeting

The Community Preservation Committee (CPC) held a meeting in the Mural Room, Lower Level of the Town Hall on Thursday, June 24, 2004 beginning at 8:00 a.m. Members present included Chairman Holly Morris, Jody Hall, Tony Kelso, Pat Loring, and George Wadsworth. Brendan Keohan and Arthur Vautrain were absent.

SPECIAL TOWN MEETING
The CPC recapped the Special Town Meeting and reviewed the next step for each project. The CPC designated Ms. Morris to draft a letter to the Board of Selectmen summarizing the CPC recommendations.
The CPC discussed whether to hire their own engineer to determine whether there are two buildable lots on the Jaycox property. Ms. Loring made a motion that was seconded by Mr. Wadsworth.
Motion: the CPC is to do their own due diligence to determine whether there are one or 2 buildable lots at the Jaycox property.
Vote: 5 - in favor; 0 - opposed. Motion passed.
MEETING SCHEDULE
The CPC reviewed the meeting schedule. The CPC will meet August 12, September 9 and then every two weeks.
OTHER BUSINESS
Ms. Morris thanked Ms. Hall and Mr. Vautrain for their work and contribution to the CPC.
