BOARD OF SELECTMEN FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 4, 2005
MINUTES OF MEETING SELECTMEN’S OFFICE 1:30 PM
The meeting was called to order at approximately 1:00 PM with the following members present: Martin W. O’Brien, Chairman; Susan J. Bolster, Selectwoman; Brian J. Perrin, Selectmen and Virginia L. Wilder Executive Secretary/CAO.
Open Session
Chairman O’Brien opened the meeting and place the following items before the Board.
VOTED: on a Motion by Selectwoman Susan J. Bolster, 2nd by Selectmen Brian J. Perrin and made unanimous by Chairman Martin W. O'Brien to approve the permit for Governor’s Garden to again this year to sell trees from 11/22 to 12/4 daily from 8am to 11pm.
VOTED: on a Motion by Selectwoman Susan J. Bolster, 2nd by Selectmen Brian J. Perrin and made unanimous by Chairman Martin W. O'Brien to approve the permit for Woodside Hardware to again this year sell trees from 11/23 to 12/24 daily from 8am to 10pm.
VOTED: on a Motion by Selectwoman Susan J. Bolster, 2nd by Selectmen Brian J. Perrin and made unanimous by Chairman Martin W. O'Brien to approve the Sandwich Board permit for the Winthrop High School Class of 2007 to place Sandwich Boards at the corners of Main/Pleasant and the Revere Street Island from November 5 to November 10, 2005. Honan sign will be responsible for the signs.
At approximately 2 PM, with no further general business, Chairman O’Brien adjourned the open session to go into Executive Session to discuss Massport Negotiations.
