BOARD OF SELECTMEN MONDAY, JULY 18, 2005
MINUTES OF MEETING SELECTMEN’S OFFICE 9:15 AM
The meeting was called to order at 9:15 AM with the following members present: Susan J. Bolster, Selectwoman, Brian J. Perrin, Selectman and Virginia L. Wilder, Executive Secretary/CAO.

NEW BUSINESS:
FRENCH SQUARE PERMIT:
VOTED: on a motion by Selectman Perrin and made unanimous by Selectwoman Bolster to approve the Winthrop Art Association’s request to occupy French Square on Saturday, July 30, 2005, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM for “Art on the Square”.
BLOCK PARTY PERMITS:
VOTED: on a motion by Selectwoman Bolster and made unanimous by Selectman Perrin to approve the Annual Perrin/DelVento Block Party Permit to be held on Saturday, August 6, 2005, from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The Block Party Permit previously approved by Police Chief Goldstein.
VOTED: on a motion by Selectman Perrin and made unanimous by Selectwoman Bolster to approve the Annual Crystal Cove Block Party Permit to be held on Saturday, August 20, 2005, from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM. The Block Party Permit previously approved by Police Chief Goldstein.
VOTED: on a motion by Selectman Perrin and made unanimous by Selectwoman Bolster to approve the Annual Pebble Avenue Block Party to be held on Saturday July 23, 2005, from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM subject to approval by Police Chief Goldstein.
COMMON VICTUALLER:
VOTED: on a motion by Selectwoman Bolster and made unanimous by Selectman Perrin to approve the Common Victualler License for John’s Market, 119 Main Street, Winthrop, MA.
FORT BANKS SECOND ACCESS ROAD:
VOTED: on a motion by Selectman Perrin and made unanimous by Selectwoman Bolster to approve the contract with Coler & Colantonio of Norwell, MA for an estimated amount of $27,500 to complete the engineering design for the Fort Banks secondary access/fire lane.
There being no further business, the meeting adjourned at 9:25 AM.
