Public Hearing called to order at 7:30 PM.
~~PUBLIC HEARING:
1. ZBA2016-5 Application for variance from section 4.04 Buildable Area at 10 Turnpike Road (Map 45 Lot 06 Zone DI) Owner/Applicant: Kurt Lessenger (Received September 8, 2016 Public Hearing September 8, 2016 decision within 65 days after close of P.H.)
Attorney Schrager was present to speak about the application. He said the owner would like to expand the existing garage to improve the marketing ability of the property. The property is currently located in a designed industrial zone and has 11 acres.
R. Maloney asked if anyone present wanted to speak either for or against the application.
K. Ireland of Turnpike Road stated that she lives across from the site and has concerns about what type of business would be located there.
J. Castonguay also has concerns about type of business that would be going in at that location.
Mike Barbaeri asked how close the building addition would be from the wetlands.
R. Maloney said the concern for ZBA at this time is the buildable area on the lot.
R. Tulis said a variance is needed on the geometry of the buildable area.
J. Rup said that the applicant needs to be a more specific in the variance they are requesting.
S. Schrager said he is asking to reduce the length from 150 ft. to 96 ft. on one part of the buildable area.
Site walk was done on August 31, 2016.
Public Hearing is to be continued to the November 10, 2016 meeting.

Regular meeting called to order.
Jack Rup read a letter from Windham Arts in reference to a Special Exception received by Friends of the Mill Works/Windham Arts.
Windham Arts is requesting a withdrawal of the Special Exception.
The Board Member reviewed the regulation 20.08.04, and set a Public Hearing.
Friends of the MillWorks submitted a letter to be added to the file and a report on passed events for the Board Members to review.
A. Poole motion to set the Public Hearing for October 13, 2016 to discuss the statue of the Friends of the MillWorks.

A. Poole motion to approve the minutes from the July 14, 2016 meeting. John Prusak seconded the motion. All voted in favor.
