Public Hearing opened at 7:56.

ZBA2012-4 Application Special Exception for Beverage Alcohol Production Company at 156 River Road (Map 15 Lot 27A Zone R80) Owner: Tom Buccino Applicant: Richard Gummoe (Received June 14, 2012 Public Hearing July 12, 2012 Decision within 65 days after close of P.H.)

Richard Gummeo was present to speak about his application. The business is moving from Manchester. It is Connecticut Valley Distillery. The company will be distilling clear spirit. They buy the distilled spirit and will be blending and bottling. No fermentation will be done at this location. No retail sales only distribution to outlets. There will be three employees. The production process will be on needs bases. EHHD has approved 20 gallons per day for water usage.  
M. Masinda asked if anyone present wanted to speak either for or against the application.
Robert Wiecenski spoke in favor of the application. Public Hearing closed.

ZBA2012-5 Application variance from section 4.05 (front yard)for 12’X14’  shed at 204 Village Hill Road (Map 47 Lot 24 Zone R80) Owner/Applicant Stephen & Nada Wasynczuk (Received June 18, 2012 Public Hearing July 12, 2012 Decision within 65 days after close of P.H.)

Stephen Wasynczuk was present to speak about his application. He stated that he would like to put a shed in his yard. The yard has steep slopes and ledge. The only location would be in front of the house. Site walk done on June 25, 2012.
M. Masinda asked if anyone present would like to speak either for or against the application.
Public Hearing closed.

Jack Rup motion to approve the application. John Prusak seconded the motion. All voted in favor.

Brian Sempbron motion to approve a front yard variance. John Prusak seconded the motion. All voted in favor.

Old Business:
Renewal of Special Exception for Dog Training Facility at 16 Moose Meadow.
A site walk was done on Monday June 25, 2012 at 7:00 at 16 Moose Meadow Road.
M. Masinda motion to approve the Special Exception renewal of the dog training facility at 16 Moose Meadow Road. John Prusak seconded the motion. All voted in favor.

New Business:
 
  ZBA2012-6 Application variance of Willington Zoning Regulation section 11.20.04.06 (location of septic system to wetlands) 3 Polster Road (Map 46 Lots 16 & 17) Owner: Frank & Joseph Malack Applicant: Love’s Travel Stops & Country Stores, Inc (Received July 12, 2012 Public Hearing by September 13, 2012 Decision within 65 days after close of P.H.)

M. Masinda stated he would email Members to see if they would be available for a Public Hearing on August 9, 2012.

M. Masinda motion to approve the minutes of April 12, 2012 with corrections.  J. Prusak seconded the motion.  All voted in favor.
