Public Hearing:
ZBA2010-2 Application for a variance of section 8.01 to construction a deck and replace a window with a door to deck at 6 Kollar Road (Map 24 Lot 21 Zone R80) Owner/Applicant: William Jean (Received April 8, 2010 Public Hearing by June 10, 2010 Decision within 65 days after close of P.H.)
Mrs. Jean was present to speak about the application. She stated that the house was built before zoning and that the house is close to the road.
Mrs. Jean stated that they would like to build a deck and replace a window with a door. The hardship is the house is nonconforming, and the topography of the land.
The Board Members discussed the amount of the variance needed.
M. Masinda closed the Public Hearing at 8:12.
New Business:
ZBA2010-3 Application for variance to Section 8 Table 8.02 for a 19’ front line and 8’ side line variance for proposed additions (phased 1, 2, & 3) to present fire station. 24 Old Farms Road (Map 23 Lot 44 Zone R80) Owner/Applicant: Willington Hill Fire Department (Received June 10, 2010 Public Hearing July 8, 2010 Decision within 65 days after close of P.H.)
Application received and Public Hearing date set for July 8, 2010.

J. Rup motion to approve a 63 ½ ft center line variance and 41 ½ front line variance to construct a deck and replace a window with a door to deck.
Motion seconded by W. Bland. All voted in favor.
