Regular Meeting:
Mark Masinda called the meeting to order at 7:40
John Rup was asked to sit in for Norm Wilson.
New Business:
Mr. Makuch was present to speak.
Mr. Makuch stated that he would like to speak to the Board Members about building a storage building at 34 Old Farms Road. Discussion was held about the location of the storage building. The property is a corner lot, with frontage on Y Road & Old Farms Road. Also the distance needed for set back from the center line of the road. M. Masinda stated that nothing more could be done till an application was submitted to ZBA.
Mr. Makuch stated he would submit the application the next day.

File #ZBA2008-2 Application for 4’ front yard variance to build a 12’X16’ deck at 271 Ruby Road (Map 42 Lot 47 Zone R80) Owner: Jane D Zeiger Applicant: Randy French (Received September 11, 2008 Public Hearing October 9, 2008 decision within 65 days after close of Public Hearing.
Application was received and site walk was set for September 18, 2008 at 4PM. Public Hearing set for October 9, 2008.
Brief discussion was held on the reason for the variance. The house was built before zoning

Approval of Minutes:
R. Maloney made a motion to approve the minutes of April 10, 2008. B. Semprebon seconded the motion all voted in favor. Motion carried.

Norm Wilson letter of resignation
M. Masinda stated that he had spoken with Norm Wilson and asked him to consider being an alternate.
The Board will recommend Jerry Lopes as an alternate member and ask the Selectman Office to send him a letter. Jerry Lopes would replace John Rup as an alternate and John Rup would become a full member.
Discussion:
The Board Members discussed the Bylaw. B. Semprebon suggested they look into way to move the process along at a quicker pace. When variance is requested in time to post, the public hearing will be held at the next meeting. Site walk can also be set. Member would like to receive a packet that includes the variance request, correspondence, minutes and agenda.

R. Maloney made a motion to adjourn at 8:37 PM. B. Semprebon seconded the motion. All voted in favor.
