ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS
MINUTES
February 13, 2003
REGULAR MEETING: Present: C. Csiki, Chairman, R. Maloney, V. Chairman, R. Manaskie; R. Claus; D. Brown, Secy.; N. Wilson, Alt; T. Smith, Alt.
CALL TO ORDER: Opened at 7:30 p.m.
PRESENTATION OF PLAQUE: Mr. Richard Claus presented retiring member Mr. Sydney Goodrich with a plaque commemorating his years of service to the Town.
PRESENT TO SPEAK: Robert Hisey discussed the flow of information from the ZBA Commission to other departments throughout the Town.
MINUTES: Mr. Csiki asked for a motion to approve the minutes of 10/10/02, 10/23/02, and 11/14/02. Mr. Smith requested the minutes of 11/14/02 be changed to read: 2nd page, “for this I apologize.” And “In the future….”
Mr. Maloney made the motion to accept the minutes, Ms. Brown seconded. Vote: All in favor.
NEW BUSINESS:
· Budget – Motion made by Mr. Maloney, seconded by Ms. Brown. Vote: All in favor to accept budget as submitted.
· Election of Officers – Motion made by Mr. Manaskie, seconded by R. Claus to keep officers as they are now: C. Csiki, Chairman; R. Maloney, Vice Chairman; D. Brown, Secy.; R. Manaskie and R. Claus, regular members; and Alternates: C. Deskus, N. Wilson, and T. Smith. Vote: All in favor.
· C. Csiki explained that in February 11, 1999 a motion was made by S. Goodrich to increase the application gee from $80 to $90.00 (effective immediately), seconded by R. Maloney. Vote was: All in favor. Chr. Csiki made a motion to amend retroactively the ZBA by-laws to reflect the action taken by the board on 2/11/99. Seconded by R. Manaskie. Vote: All in favor.
DISCUSSION: No March meeting unless applications come in before March 1, 2003. Next scheduled meeting April 10, 2003.
ADJOURNMENT:
Motion made by R. Claus to adjourn meeting seconded by R. Manaskie.
Vote: All in favor
