The Willington Zoning Board of Appeals held a Public Hearing Meeting on November 9, 2000 at 7:30 at the Town Office Building, 40 Old Farms Road, Willington, CT

Chr. Csiki opened the regular meeting at 7:52 p.m.
PREAPPLICATION
Preapplication - #2000-16 – Application for a variance for a proposed single family dwelling to be constructed in the rear of an existing non-conforming building located on Cemetery Road (map 52 lot 27 R80 zone) Owner: Bridgette Doty/Applicant: Sara Duga
The applicant amended the application to appeal the ruling of the Zoning Enforcement Officer and request a variance for area.
Chr. Csiki accepted application #2000-16, scheduled a site walk for December 2, 2000 at 9:00 a.m. The public hearing will be held on December 14, 2000 at 7:30 p.m.
PUBLIC HEARING (continued)
Chr. Csiki reconvened the public hearing, with members seated the same as above, for the following applications:
Application #2000-10 – Application for a Special Exception per Section 13 of the Willington Zoning Regulations for an office and for storage of equipment for East Rock, Inc. located at 165 River Road (map 15 lot 8 R80 zone). Owner and applicant: 165 River Road LLC
Chr. Csiki read the following correspondence into the record:
1. Letter dated 10-26-2000 to D. Caron from P. Fabrycki regarding legal notification.
2. Letter dated 10-27-2000 to ZBA members from Chr. Csiki regarding legal
notification.
3. Fax received 11-9-2000 from River’s Edge Condo Assoc. regarding failure of
notification.

Application #2000-15 Application to appeal the ruling of the zoning agent for an access road to an adjacent lot under the same ownership for a proposed telecommunications tower and facility located on an adjacent lot in Stafford, Connecticut, located on Potter School Road (map 55 lot 007-08 R80 zone)
Chr. Csiki read a letter to Zoning Board of appeals dated 11-9-2000 from Wendell G. Davis regarding a request for an extension of 65 days.

Vice Chr. Maloney made a motion to deny application #2000-10 due to improper notification to abutters, seconded, by S. Goodrich. All in favor, passed unanimously.

A motion to accept the minutes of October 12, 2000 as amended, was made by Chr. Csiki as follows:
1. Bottom of 1st page after second by N. Potvin – add vote unanimous.
2. Paragraph from bottom of 1st page – will deny without prejudice.
ADJOURNMENT
A motion to adjourn at 8:40 p.m. was made by S. Goodrich, seconded by Vice Chr. Maloney. All in favor, passed unanimously.
