SPECIAL MEETING MAY 24, 2000
MINUTES FOR CONTINUATION OF PUBLIC HEARING

The Willington Zoning Board of Appeals held a special meeting at the Town Office Building, 40 Old Farms Road, Willington, CT at 7:30 p.m.

PUBLIC HEARING Continuation

Chr. Csiki continued the public hearing for application #2000-7 at 7:35 p.m.

        2000-07 -               Application for a variance for an installation of cellular antennas on an       
                                existing sign located at 327 Ruby Road.  (Map 42 Lot 45 R80 Zone)
                Owner/Applicant:  Royce Properties, LLC/Springwich Cellular, LP  
                (Received 4/13/2000, Opened Public Hearing on 5/11/2000, Continued
                Public Hearing to 5/24/2000)    

Chr. Csiki discussed the letter dated 5/24/2000 from Attorney Mark Branse regarding application for variance to alter/expand nonconforming structure to include telecommunications antenna.

The board discussed increasing the bulk of the sign.  A discussion followed.

The board asked K. Coppins to present a document showing what the sign would look like and the dimensions with the antennas on the side.

K. Coppins responded that he would.  

Chr. Csiki stated that N. Potvin was not present on 5/11/2000 and he will need to listen to the tape to bring him up to date on application #2000-07, therefore, application #2000-07 will be continued to the 6/8/2000 meeting.

SPECIAL MEETING

Chr. Csiki noted that there was nothing to discuss – public hearing for application #2000-07 will continue on 6/8/2000.

ADJOURNMENT

A motion was made by R. Manaskie, seconded by N. Potvin to adjourn at 7:52 p.m.  All in favor.
