Old Business
1.W2006-24- Application for construction of two (2) single family dwellings within the regulated area on parcel A & B south of 69 Loshe Rd. (Map 46, Lot 1-B) Owner/Applicant: D. W. Fish Home Builders, LLC. (Received 5/8/06, Site walk 5/22/06 at 6 pm, Public Hearing/Decision by 7/10/06)
Mark Peterson the applicants engineer was present to discuss the application. Mr. Peterson presented the commission members with his newest plan changes. The new plan for the two properties included a common drive way with a single curb cut. A single squash pipe would be placed under the driveway and two arch culverts would be back filled with natural material to cause the least amount of disturbance to the wetlands. There would also be an erosion control blanket built so it would control water drainage before it reached the wetlands.
The commission asked if the town engineer has seen a copy of the latest plans and if they received approval from the health district. Mr. Peterson said no to both questions. The commission asked Mr. Peterson to speak with the town engineer before the next meeting so they can hear his feedback. F. Dirrigl reminded the commission that when they make a motion regarding this application they need to state that they approved the common driveway so when it goes to Planning and Zoning for a variance they will be more likely to approve it.
2. W2006-25- Application for construction of driveway, utilities, erosion control and grading within the regulated area on 37 Clover Springs Dr. (Map 9. Lot 7-12) Owner/Applicant: Beyor Builders, Inc. (Received 5/8/06, Decision by 7/10/06)
Mark Peterson the applicants engineer was present to discuss the application. Mr. Peterson showed the commission members the changes he had made to his last plans for the property. He showed where he was able to have fewer disturbances to the wetlands area. He also pointed out where vegetation will remain where before it was going to be removed. Mr. Peterson stated that dead trees and shrubs will still be removed from that area. F. Dirrigl stated that he would like to see increased vegetation in the area to prevent erosion in the future as well as the information put into the deed to the house so future owners will know not to remove the planted vegetation. G. Jones stated that the erosion control blanket must be completed at the time of driveway construction and all drainage and
erosion control fencing is in place at that time as well.
F. Dirrigl made a motion to approve W2006-25- Application for construction of driveway, utilities, erosion control and grading within the regulated area on 37 Clover Springs Dr. (Map 9. Lot 7-12) Owner/Applicant: Beyor Builders, Inc. with the conditions that all erosion and control measures be in place before construction begins, not including site clearing and that at the time of driveway construction the applicant put in an erosion control blanket.
