D. SCHREIBER CALLED A REGULARLY SCHEDULED MEETING OF THE WILLINGTON INLAND WETLANDS AND WATERCOURSES COMMISSION TO ORDER AT 7:36 P.M. DECEMBER 11, 2000 AT THE TOWN OFFICE BUILDING, 40 OLD FARMS ROAD, WILLINGTON.

NEW BUSINESS:

None.

OLD BUSINESS:

1.     File #W2000-55-Application for the construction of a single-family home with a portion of the driveway and septic system in the regulated area located off Willington Hill Road (Route 320) (Map 8, Lot 23, 2.03 acres). Stephan M. Amedy & Keith & Andrea Schmeiske, owners/Stephan M. Amedy, applicant. (Received on 11/13/00, no decision before 11/27/00, hearing or decision by 01/08/01).

Hank Torcellini of Gardner & Petersen spoke on behalf of the applicant.

T. Gutowski and G. Blessing noted they have visited the site.

H. Torcellini reviewed the maps, pointing out the power lines and footing drains.

The commission discussed the wetlands areas.

T. Gutowski asked if the stonewall would be left.

H. Torcellini said yes.

T. Gutowski said based on her walk it looks like the only place the house and septic can go is the location that has been chosen.

H. Torcellini showed the limit of disturbance on the map.

G. Blessing asked how much of the septic system would be in the buffer area.

H. Torcellini said it would be the bulk of it.

K. Metzler asked if SNET pole #2611 would be shared.

H. Torcellini showed the utility easement area and said it will probably share power.

K. Metzler asked if the easement currently exists.

H. Torcellini said it is part of the land transfer.

G. BLESSING MOVED TO APPROVE FILE # W2000-55-APPLICATION FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A SINGLE-FAMILY HOME WITH A PORTION OF THE DRIVEWAY AND SEPTIC SYSTEM IN THE REGULATED AREA LOCATED OFF WILLINGTON HILL ROAD (ROUTE 320) (MAP 8, LOT 23, 2.03 ACRES). STEPHAN M. AMEDY & KEITH & ANDREA SCHMEISKE, OWNERS/STEPHAN M. AMEDY, APPLICANT. (RECEIVED ON 11/13/00, NO DECISION BEFORE 11/27/00, HEARING OR DECISION BY 01/08/01).
SECONDED BY K. METZLER.

T. Gutowski stated this is the most suitable site for the house to be built.

UNANIMOUSLY APPROVED.
