TOWN OF WILLINGTON
MINUTES
SPECIAL TOWN MEETING
July 7, 2011
The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m.
First Selectman, Christina Mailhos read the call of the meeting and asked
for nominations for a moderator. John Patton made a motion to appoint Christina Mailhos as moderator and was seconded by Tyler Millix.
Motion carried.
Item I
To see if the townspeople, on the recommendation of the Board of Finance, will authorize the appropriation of $40,000 from Capital Projects Fund-LoCIP-Potter School Road for the purpose of installation of a culvert liner on Potter School Road to be reimbursed by the State of Connecticut Local Capital Improvement Program.
A motion was made by John Patton and seconded by Lynn Nicholls to approve Item I.
No discussion followed.

Item II
To see if the townspeople on the recommendation of the Board of Finance, will authorize the appropriation of $145,00 from Capital Projects Fund-LoCIP-Phase I Turnpike Road for the purpose of drainage improvements to Turnpike Road to be reimbursed by the State of Connecticut Local Capital Improvement.
A motion was made by John Patton and seconded by Bary Wallett to approve Item II
Question was asked on what is Phase I. Lynn Nicholls said it would the drainage portion
of Turnpike Rd. from the Ashford line.
Motion carried. Vote was 7 yes 1 no.
A motion was made by John Patton and seconded by Bary Wallett to adjourn the meeting at 7:10 p.m. .
Motion carried.
