Solid Waste Advisory Commission
Meeting Minutes
October 15, 2014
The meeting was called to order at 7:08 p.m. by Christina Mailhos at the Town Office Building, Selectman’s conference room.
Present: Christina Mailhos, Christine Psathas, Barry Wallet (arrived at 7:30 p.m.)

Present to Speak: None
New Business: Discussed terms and appointments of Commission members. The Commission is made up of two members for three-year terms; three members for two-year terms with one alternate for a three-year term and one alternate for a two-year term. There are vacancies of one member and two alternate members. Ms. Mailhos will talk with current members about considering remaining with the Commission.
Unfinished Business: Ms. Mailhos received additional information from the business manager to be placed in the proposed revised Transfer Station Operation and Management Plan. The Commission finished discussing and making revisions to the Plan and recommended that the Plan be presented to the Board of Selectmen.
Approval of Minutes: There were no corrections to the minutes of July 30, 2014 and September 17, 2014.
