Selectmen’s Conference Room 9:30 A.M.
- Resolution – Easement for Button Hill (Eversource)
First Selectman Mailhos called the meeting to order at 9:35 AM with Selectman Blessington. Selectman Kowalyshyn was absent.
First Selectman Mailhos stated that the Senior Cottages are in need of an easement authorization, for Eversource which has been reviewed by the Town Attorney and with the Housing Authority’s Attorney.
The easement is time sensitive as Eversource needs to put in a special line immediately to allow power to the newly constructed cottages for heating purposes during construction.
First Selectman Mailhos read and moved to adopt the following resolution:
RESOLUTION FOR ELECTRONIC DISTRIBUTION EASEMENT
RESOLVED: the Town of Willington will enter into the Electronic Distribution Easement for the Button Hill Senior Housing Development and authorize the First Selectman to execute the easement on behalf of the Town.
Selectman Blessington seconded the motion.
First Selectman Mailhos reiterated that both the Housing and Town Attorneys have reviewed and recommended the resolution be adopted.
Vote: 2 Yes (Mailhos & Blessington) 0 No.
Motion passes.
Selectman Blessington moved to adjourn the meeting at 9:40 A.M.
First Selectman Mailhos seconded the motion.
Vote: 2 Yes (Mailhos & Blessington) 0 No.
