Selectmen’s Conference Room 10:00 A.M.
First Selectman Mailhos called the meeting to order at 10:16 A.M. with the following in attendance: Selectman Littell & Blessington, Business Manager Donna Latincsics, Cindy Wilson, AFSCME Union Vice President and Dave Nash.
- Award Town Insurance contract 2012-2013
Business Manager, Donna Latincsics stated that she had gone out to bid for the insurance and received a quote from CIRMA as well as a quote from Trident, via our current agent, Kristin Guglielmo of Penny Hanley & Howley. She presented the quotes for the final premium proposal at: $129,316 for Trident and $129,318 for CIRMA. Donna stated that we have been with PH&H and Trident since 2002 and have not had any issues with them. First Selectman Mailhos added that CIRMA does not reinsure (similar to MIRMA where capital assessments can be billed on years after a loss) which can be positive or negative, depending on the loss runs of our Town and other Towns involved.
First Selectman Mailhos moved to award the insurance contract to Trident for PAL and WC for a total of $129,316 effective July 1, 2012.
Selectman Blessington seconded the motion.

- Executive Session –Personnel Matter – Grievance
Selectman Littell moved to go into Executive Session for a personnel matter (grievance).
Selectman Blessington seconded the motion.

Selectman Blessington moved to come out of executive session at 11:40 A.M.
Selectman Littell seconded the motion.
Vote: 3 Yes (Mailhos, Little & Blessington) 0 No.
Selectman Blessington moved to rescind the written warning from the employee’s personnel file.
Selectman Littell seconded the motion.
Vote: 3 Yes (Mailhos, Littell & Blessington) 0 No.
Selectman Littell moved to adjourn the meeting at 11:43 P.M.
