Old Town Hall March 26, 2012
6:00 P.M.
First Selectman Mailhos called the meeting to order at 6:03 PM with the following in attendance: Selectman Blessington, Robert Shabot, President- Willington Historical Society and Karl Acimovic, Town Engineer.
- Old Town Hall Building Discussion
Discussion was held on the current needs of the building and what questions should be asked of the Consultants during their interviews.
Topics discussed were:
- Restrooms and handicapped accessibility
- HVAC issues
- Windows
- Acoustics inside the main hall
- Upgrading the Septic system
- Possibly hooking up to the water main at Center School
Rafters underneath the building and the weight load for the floor
First Selectman Mailhos stated that we need to make it clear that this building is used on a regular basis and reiterate that the building is used for many recreational programs.
The Board then walked through the building and looked at the water system, the restrooms and the look-out tower.
The meeting was adjourned at 7:06 PM
