Special Meeting Minutes
Town Office Building March 2, 2011
Selectmen’s Conference Room 11:00 A.M.
First Selectman Mailhos called the meeting to order at 11:29 A.M. with the following in attendance: Selectman Blessington and Selectman Millix via telephone.
First Selectman Mailhos presented the 2011-2012 CIP Plan. She stated that the The Capitol Improvement Plan Committee did their best to go through and push things out where possible, take things off that will not be done in the next five years and have looked for alternative funding sources.
The2011-2012 plan consists of:

First Selectman Mailhos stated that we do not have any major purchases planned for this current year. These are all maintenance items. Selectman Millix stated page 3 of the report; 6th paragraph sentence “ The second fire department lease would have a closing in fiscal year 2013 and is projected to be an 8 year lease”. should read
……..closing in fiscal year 2012-2013 and is projected…… so it is not misinterpreted for 2013-2014.
First Selectman Mailhos said the real impact is what it does to the operating budget, but we need to fund these things so we don’t end up replacing everything all at once.
First Selectman Mailhos moved to approve the CIP plan for fiscal years 2012-2016 as presented by the CIP Committee.
Selectman Millix seconded the motion.
Vote: 3 Yes (Mailhos, Millix & Blessington) 0 No.
First Selectman Mailhos moved to adjourn the meeting at 11:37 A.M.
Selectman Blessington seconded the motion.
Vote: 3 Yes (Mailhos, Millix & Blessington) 0 No.
