SPECIAL MEETING SEPT. 20, 2007
TOWN OFFICE BUILDING 5:30 P.M.
First Selectman Eldredge called the meeting to order at 5:30 P.M. with the following in attendance: Selectman Lewis and residents. Selectman Patton was absent.
CALL OF TOWN MEETING
FIRST SELECTMAN ELDREDGE MOVED THAT THE TOWN MEETING DATE BE SET AS FOLLOWS:
Selectman Lewis seconded the motion.
VOTE: 2 YES (ELDREDGE & LEWIS) 0 NO
The electors of the Town of Willington and all persons who are entitled to vote in Town Meeting on the matters mentioned in the following warning are hereby warned and notified to meet in Town Meeting at the TOWN HALL at 11 COMMON ROAD in Willington on October 3, 2007 at 7:00 P.M. for the following purposes:
ITEM I
To see if the townspeople, on the recommendation of the Board of Finance, will authorize the
appropriation of $100,000 from Capital Reserve Funds for construction of a water main from Rivers Edge Condominiums on Depot Road to Hall Memorial School.
ITEM II
To see if the townspeople, on the recommendation of the Board of Finance, will authorize the increase of the original appropriation of $69,300 (approved August 9, 2006) to $95,000 from Capital Reserve Funds to design and construct the interconnection of public water from the main in Route 32 to Hall Memorial School.
