SPECIAL MEETING MAY 14, 2007
TOWN OFFICE BUILDING 6:00 P.M.
First Selectman Eldredge called the meeting to order at 6:16 P.M. with the following in attendance: Selectmen Patton and Lewis, K. Acimovic, L. Nicholls and residents.
PUBLIC WORKS
The Board signed bills. The following discussions took place.
Lynn talked to FEMA regarding the extension, she is waiting to hear back.
Discussion regarding Tinkerville Road, the cost, design, permits needed, Board of Finance approval and Town Meeting along with discussion on how long that area would have to be shut down. Tentative plan is to go to Inland/Wetlands with sketch tonight, get 8-24 approval from PZC, go to BOF 6/21/07, Town Meeting 7/2/07, bid contract in mid June, bids due 7/2/07, award contract 7/15/07 with a start date of 8/1/07. Light weight vehicles okay on 9/15 and unrestricted traffic on 10/1/07.
AWARD GENERATOR CONTRACT
FIRST SELECTMAN ELDREDGE MOVED TO AWARD THE GENERATOR CONTRACT FOR INSTALLATION AT HALL MEMORIAL SCHOOL TO D’AMICO ELECTRIC IN STAFFORD FOR OPTION A FOR $47,824.00 AS PER THEIR BID.
Selectman Patton seconded the motion.
VOTE: 3 YES (ELDREDGE, PATTON & LEWIS) 0 NO
SELECTMAN PATTON MOVED TO ADJOURN THE MEETING AT 7:05 P.M.
Selectman Lewis seconded the motion.
VOTE: 3 YES (ELDREDGE, PATTON & LEWIS) 0 NO
