SPECIAL MEETING OCT. 25, 2005
LOWER LEVEL CONFERENCE ROOM 6:15 P.M.
First Selectman Eldredge called the meeting to order at 6:30 P.M. with the following in attendance: Selectman Patton and Karl Acimovic. Selectman Blessington was absent.
APPLICATION FOR WATER SYSTEM
The Selectmen and Karl Acimovic, Town Engineer, went over the application for the water system for Senior Housing. First Selectman Eldredge commented that the name would be Willington Senior Housing Complex Community Water System. Selectman Patton thought the name could be the Old Farms Road Water System and it could be servicing the Senior Housing, he does not want to limit it to Senior Housing because eventually we will have to look up the street. First Selectman Eldredge commented that he thinks we should have Senior Housing in there somewhere for the EDI grant. Discussion on the name followed, it was decided to stay with the Willington Senior Housing Complex Community Water System. They went over the application and discussed the answers to each part of the application. The
application must be filled out electronically, on a PDF. The well completion reports, the yield tests and the water quality tests are all in. Information will be scanned and readied for the PDF and then sent in to the State.
SELECTMAN PATTON MOVED TO ADJOURN THE MEETING AT 7:00 P.M.
First Selectman Eldredge seconded the motion.
VOTE: 2 YES (ELDREDGE, & PATTON) 0 NO
