BOARD OF SELECTMEN
SPECIAL MEETING MAR. 23, 2004
TOWN OFFICE BUILDING 1:00 P.M.
First Selectman Eldredge called the meeting to order at 1:00 P.M. with the following in attendance: Selectmen Blessington and Patton and L. Nicholls. First Selectman Eldredge led the Pledge of Allegiance.
CHIP SEALING CONTRACT
First Selectman Eldredge commented that Gorman Brothers won the State bid for districts 1 & 2 at $1.19 per gallon. Lynn Nicholls, Supervisor of Public Works, commented that Gorman Brothers would give us the same price as last year, $1.05, if we sign up now and extend his contract. The price of oil is really going up. The Board agreed this would be a good deal.
FIRST SELECTMAN ELDREDGE MOVED TO EXTEND GORMAN BROTHERS CONTRACT FOR 2004/05 AT A TOTAL PRICE OF $1.05 FOR ASPHALT EMULSIONS CRS-2, CHIPPER SPREADER AND RUBBER TIRED ROLLER.
Selectman Blessington seconded the motion.
