GENERAL DISCUSSION:

DIRECTORS REPORT:
There was no Directors Report tonight.

OLD BUSINESS:
The “action items” list was reviewed including:
1.      John Sahi had the grass/soil at the Town Office baseball infield analyzed.  He is taking action by placing straw on the space and over seeding it.  The soil is reported as being “decent” for this application.
2.      Building a bocce court was discussed as a possible addition to our recreational facilities.  It is relatively inexpensive and may be a way to involve seniors in a league type program.
3.      The sign is ready to install at the RRAC.
4.      A group of High School students has signed up for a referee training program which should help with referee scheduling this season and in the future.
5.      Knight construction reported to John Sahi that the gravel for the Baseball Field would be spread as soon as weather permits.
6.      The WRC will make every attempt to post all of our past and present agendas and      minutes on the Willington Town website.
7.      The last two basketball backboards need to be installed in the Hall School parking lot.

NEW BUSINESS:
Basketball teams for the upcoming season were created.
Basketball coaches for the upcoming season were placed with teams.
Referees will be paid $15.00 per game this season.

ADJOURNMENT:
Bob Portello motioned to adjourn, which was seconded by Ed Taiman.  The meeting adjourned at 8:55PM.  The next meeting is scheduled for December 27th, 2005 at 7:00PM at the Town Hall Office Building.
