7:00 PM

Attending Members: Mike Harnad, Mike Pinatti, Joseph Colangelo, Greg Blessing, and Bob Portello.   John Sahi was also in attendance.
Meeting called to order at 7:10 PM.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES:
The minutes from the previous WRC meeting were reviewed.  Greg Blessing noted that his name was omitted from the last meeting’s minutes, which he did attend.  Bob Portello made a motion to approve the minutes with this change, which was seconded by Greg Blessing.  All members were unanimous in approval.

GENERAL DISCUSSION:
Mike Harnad discussed fundraising with a golf tournament.
It was suggested that the Hall School Gym would be used for more recreational events.
Minutes and agendas must be posted on the Willington web site for public review.
Joe Colangelo will create an “action items” list following each meeting.
Unresolved events from each previous WRC meeting should be our first Old Business entry of the next meeting.

DIRECTORS REPORT:
There was no Directors Report tonight.

OLD BUSINESS:
The following items were reviewed for the upcoming basketball season:
Shirts are still pending.
Referees clinic is on December 4th at the Hall School gym from 1:00PM to 4:00PM with no fee to attendees.
High School age boys “pick up” games will be on Sunday from 3:00PM to 5:00PM.
Each coach should receive a “coaches notebook” similar to 2003.  This shall include a roster, rulebook, and code of conduct for parents to sign and return to their respective child’s coach.  A reminder to post the parent’s code of conduct per game, and sheets or reminders for the winning coach to provide the scores and synopsis of each game for posting on our web site will also be included.
Coaches meeting shall be held, previous to the start of the season, to review rules of fair play and expectations of individual coaches.
The RRAC funding at present will cover the cost of spreading gravel on the baseball field to grade.  This will close the original contract.  It is necessary that Karl Acimov help to prepare the RFP to outline work necessary for spring 2006 at the RRAC.

NEW BUSINESS:
The basketball clinic for 11/12/05 will follow Mike Harnad’s outline from the previous clinic.  We will have two groups of players.  Girls from grades 5-8 from 9:00AM to 11:00AM, and boys from grades 5-8 from 11:00AM to 1:00PM.
The discussion of a fund-raiser for a single project at the RRAC for the upcoming year will be included in the next WRC meeting.

ADJOURNMENT:
There was a motion made by Joseph Colangelo to adjourn, which was seconded by Greg Blessing.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:35PM.  The next WRC meeting will be held on 11/22/05 at 7:00PM in
     the Town Hall Office Building.

Respectfully submitted 11/3/05
