OLD BUSINESS:
Bernie Bourbeau, who has six years experience with the basketball program, spoke at this time in reference to the WRC basketball program and reported the following;  1.An extensive basketball clinic should be implemented.  2.The younger girls’ teams may have a better experience using shorter hoops.  3.Scheduling needs improvement.  4.There may be need for a 3rd grade league.  5.Travel teams could help alleviate scheduling problems.  6.A day camp previous to start of seasonal play could help to better arrange teams.  7.A scorekeeper should be hired per game to maintain better scoring.  8.A coaches “training meeting” for coach’s certification should be implemented.  NOTE:  Bernie will provide the WRC with a formal list of suggestions.
The Winter Baseball Clinic was considered a success.  Pictures of the Clinic activities will be submitted to the Horizons magazine. The money made at the Winter Baseball Clinic is to be divided between Willington Little League and the WRC with all profits being put directly into baseball field upgrades.
There will be a return of 20% of the Ski Club fees per participant for the missed trip.

NEW BUSINESS:
Hall Pond will operate as it has in the past.
The WRC will have a booth on Willington Day.
The Summer Band Series will consist of two dates, opening and closing the summer season.
The outdoor basketball area behind Hall School needs more baskets to allow for more children to play at once.  A cost of this upgrade will be evaluated and addressed in the next regular meeting.
Opening day for baseball will be partly dedicated to the Pepsi Pitch Hit and Run program.
