Committee Minutes
Special Meeting
October 26th, 2004
7:00 PM
Attending Members: Mike Harnad, Mike Pinatti, Steve Swart, Joseph Colangelo, and Ed Taiman.
Meeting called to order at 7:15 PM.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES:
The minutes from the previous WRC meeting were reviewed. The motion to accept was by Mike Harnad with a second by Ed Taiman. Members were unanimous in approval.
GENERAL DISCUSSION:
Ropes and associated gear need to be removed from Hall Pond before winter.
Mike Harnad and Joseph Colangelo will support “pick up” games for children too old for the normal basketball recreation program. A $25.00 fee and registration will be required. Girls will be on Sunday at 5:30PM to 7:00PM. Boys will be on Tuesday at 7:00PM to 8:30PM.
III. DIRECTORS REPORT:
Due to the absence of the Director, no report was given.
IV. OLD BUSINESS:
Rich Mindek will coach the boys Hall School basketball team this season. Mike Pinatti will coach the girls Hall School basketball team this season.
Registration slips for the recreation basketball program were delivered to the Willington School system for distribution.
V. NEW BUSINESS:
Mike Pinatti will invite a guest speaker to our next regular meeting to assist the WRC with ideas in fundraising for the RRAC.
There is no drawing available for the RRAC entrance sign at this time.
The WRC will review RRAC construction completed to date at the next regular meeting with the help of Carl the site engineer.
ADJOURMENT:
There was a motion made by Mike Harnad to adjourn, which Greg Blessing seconded. The meeting was adjourned at 9:32PM. The next regular WRC meeting was scheduled for October 25th, 2004 at 7:00PM.
