Approval of minutes from the 5/22/12 meeting.

General discussion and open forum for anyone present.  Joe Colangelo will allot time for discussion and individual requests to speak.

Directors report.

Old Business:

  • Review field use fees for the RRAC, specifically for upcoming events including in town and out of town requests.  Discuss adopting a formal “Field Use Policies and Procedures” form similar to ones used in towns local to Willington.
  • The town has reviewed and accepted our request for a “temporary” building to house the water system and concessions at the RRAC.  Propose a plan for building size and type, excavation for a stone base, removing the lid of the existing manhole, backfilling it with sand, and bringing the existing water conduits into the building.  Also discuss the final electrical install for the building to provide power and light for concessions and power for the water system.  The pavilion is also approved for electrical and needs review as well.  Create a “budget” cost for these items and discuss funding.
New Business

  • Hall’s Pond was vandalized recently.  Review the damage and repair cost and possible ways to avoid future problems.
  • A golf tournament as a fundraiser for items at the RRAC is not possible for this year, but a committee for next year will be discussed.
