Chairman Marco called the meeting to order at 7:32.
Presentation by VCI and the Board of Selectmen
The presentation was cancelled.
PZC2016-17 Application to amended subdivision at 85 Mason Road (Map 11 Lot 2C Zone R80) Owner/Applicant: Edward Bussiere (Received July 19, 2016 Public Hearing by September 20, 2016 decision with 65 days after close of P.H.)
The members looked at the application but a decision could not be made; the Commission did not have a Quorum. S. Yorgensen explained the application. The pond is currently shared by both lots and the owner would like to have the entire pond on 1 lot. She said it is a modification on how the lot is configured and the lot line revision meets the regulations. A. Marco said a Public Hearing is not necessary.
Stephen Filip arrived at 7:45 and present plans. He said one parcel will have a 1.8 acre loss and the other a 1.8 acre gain. He said Mr. Bussiere wants to sell the house and feels it would be easier to sell with the entire pond on the 1 parcel. S. Yorgensen said the application was complete.
The application was tabled to the next meeting.
Staff Report
S. Yorgensen reported that Franc Motors and Willington Pizza have had some of their items on each other’s parcel. She said they have worked it out and each will move the items to the appropriate property.
S. Yorgensen said Franc Service LLC has spread out onto the abutting property. She said the LLC is now going to purchase a piece of the property but it is in the residential zone. The LLC is going to come before the Commission to ask for a zone change to commercial.
