Public Hearing
Chairman Marco called the Regular Meeting to order at 7:30. Nicole Martin was seated for John Sullivan.
PZC2016-9 Application for Special Permit for temporary sale of legal sparklers at 327 Ruby Road (Map 42 Lot 45 Zone DC) Owner Royce Properties Applicant: Tatiana De Jesus (Received May 3, 2016 Public Hearing June 7, 2016 decision within 65 days after close of P.H.)
The Public Hearing was tabled as the applicant was not present.
PZC2016-12 Application for Special Permit to store and maintain construction equipment used for septic company and office space at 7 River Road (Map 5 Lot 4 Zone DC) Owner: Willington Auto Body Applicant: Christopher Sutyla & Michael Norcross (Received May 17, 2016 Public Hearing June 7, 2016 decision within 65 days after close of P.H.)
Christopher Sutyla was present and said they would like to use the space to maintain equipment and as storage and a small office. He said they are going to clean up the building; paint, install new windows, re-do the parking lot and add landscaping. Mr. Sutyla said the parking lot is currently graveled and they are not going to pave it at this time. He will come back if they plan to pave or do other improvements. He said all the equipment should fit in the building except for an occasional truck parked outside. He added that they would not do any of the equipment maintenance outside.
A brief discussion was held on the building. Mr. Sutyla said it has been neglected for some time and they want to fix it up. S. Yorgensen said the current sign meets the regulations.
E. Standish motioned to close the Public Hearing. W. Parsell seconded the motion. All in favor. Motion carried.
