Present: Rosa Helena Chinchilla, Chair, Mary Beth Caron Blauvelt, Timothy Blauvelt and Richard Mueller.
1. At 7:10 Motion from Mary Beth Caron to seat Richard Mueller for Laurie Masciandaro and Timothy Blauvelt for Robert Shabbot. And Rosa Chinchilla will take minutes. All were in favor of these changes. Mary Beth Caron made the motion to nominate Rosa Helena Chinchilla as Chair. The vote was all in favor 0 against.
2. Approval of Minutes:
Tim Blauvelt makes a motion to accept the minutes of the October 2015 meeting Mueller seconded. All were in favor. Old Business was tabled to the end of the meeting so Mr. Weigold could leave early
3 New Business.
Discussion about the proposal to place a sign in front of the Glazier Tavern on 1 Common Road. Discussion about height and angle to the main road. Tim Blauvelt made a motion to authorize the certificated of appropriateness from the Willington Historic Society owner of said house on Common Road, Richard seconded it. All were in favor, none opposed.
4 Old Business:
Regarding the approval of the scenic roads proposed, Kucko, Ruby Road from the Library to the Ruby Road pond, and Moose Meadow Road: Discussion ensued regarding whether neighbors needed to be notified of our planned recommendation. Tim Blauvelt wanted other members of the Historic District Commission to weigh in. The chair was asked to have Colleen Kisane to give more information about what was needed.
Tim moved to adjourn, Mary Beth seconded. Vote to adjourn, all in favor. Adjourned at 7:50 pm.
