Also Present: Donna Latincsics, Business Manager; Annemarie Poole, Treasurer
Jim Harvey, Acting Chairman called the meeting to order at 7:00 P.M.
Ken Schoppmann motioned to seat Geoff Prusak for Kathy Blessing. Matt DiNallo seconded. All were in favor, motion carried.
AUDITOR SELECTION
Ken Schoppmann, Annemarie Poole, Anne Marie Brown and Donna Latincsics met with O'Connell, Pace & Company to ask them a few more questions. Donna Latincsics briefed the Board on their meeting. Discussion followed.
Donna Latincsics told the Board that her main concern was why his price was so low and that he had never done a CAFR. Ken Schoppmann said that he feels that they can do what Willington needs to be done. Ann Marie Brown agreed with him.
Both Donna Latincsics and Annemarie Poole agreed that it will mean more work for them having a new auditor. They also agreed that they would like it if we stayed with CCR. Discussion continued.
Ken Schoppmann motioned that we hire CCR as the auditor for the Town of Willington. Geoff Prusak seconded. Discussion followed.
Matt DiNAllo asked if Donna Latincsics and Annemarie Poole like CCR because of a personal relationship with the auditors or if they feel that they do an outstanding job. They both answered that they liked working with the people at CCR.
Vote was taken on the motion: Yes – DiNallo, Schoppmann No – Prusak, A. Brown, Harvey. Motion Failed.
Ken Schoppmann motioned to hire O'Connell, Pace & Company as auditor for the Town of Willington. Ann Marie Brown seconded. Vote was taken: Yes – A. Brown, Harvey, Schoppmann, Prusak No – DiNallo. Motion carried.

GOOD & WELFARE –
Acting Chairman Jim Harvey informed the Board that Kathy Blessing’s mother had passed away.
Geoff Prusak motioned that we spend up to $50.00 for flowers or a basket to be sent. Matt DiNallo seconded. All were in favor, motion carried.
Motion to adjourn made by Ken Schoppmann at 7:26 pm...Seconded by Geoff Prusak. All were in favor, motion carried.
