Chairman Brown called the meeting to order at 7:05 P.M.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Motion to approve minutes of May 18, 2006 was made by Jim Harvey, Ann Marie Brown seconded. All in favor, motion passed.
PRESENT TO SPEAK –
Carol Larson, Tax Collector, presented the Board with the Suspense request for the 05/06 fiscal year. The grand total came to $9,237.50.
Jim Harvey motioned to approve the suspense request of $9,237.50for the 05/06 fiscal year. Ken Schoppmann seconded. All were in favor, motion carried.
David Woodworth, Fire Chief WFD #1, presented the Board with copies of invoices for the repairs on the ambulance totaling $5,978.51. Discussion followed.
Donna Latincsics distributed to the Board a request for budget transfers, which would include the funds needed for the ambulance repairs.
Ken Schoppmann motioned that the Board of Finance authorizes the transfers of funds as follows:
$1,098 to line item 0151 Town Clerk
1,900 to line item 0181 Town Office Operations
650 to line item 0185 Senior Center Operations
6,002 to line item 0232 Fire Protection
9,650 from line item 0311 Public Works
Jim Harvey seconded. All were in favor, motion carried.
BOARD OF FINANCE -2- June 15, 2006
NEW BUSINESS –
Donna Latincsics presented the Board with a request for Town Meeting, which is in response to the Board of Selectmen’s request at their June 6th meeting.
Selectman Patton explained to the Board the reason for the request. Discussion followed.
Ann Marie Brown motion that the Board of Finance recommends the Board of Selectmen call a town meeting to:
Reduce the appropriation of $340,800 from the General Reserve Fund for the design and construction of the Senior Housing Water System to $220,800. This is a reduction in the appropriation of $120,000.00.
Appropriate $120,000 from LOCIP for the design and construction of the Senior Housing Water System.
Appropriate $120,000 for the General Reserve Fund for the design and construction of a new roof and bay entrances for the Willington Fire Department #1 Station 213.
Jim Harvey seconded. All were in favor, motion carried.

GOOD & WELFARE –
Chairman Brown informed the Board that he cannot attend the next meeting. The secretary will find out if a meeting will be necessary and contact everyone.
The next meeting for the Board of Finance will be July 20, 2006.
