SPECIAL MEETING NOV. 8, 2007
TOWN OFFICE BUILDING 5:30 P.M.
First Selectman Eldredge called the meeting to order at 5:30 P.M. with the following in attendance: Selectmen Patton & Lewis, L. Nicholls and residents.
PUBLIC WORKS
The Board signed bills and leave requests. Lynn reported that the tree/brush problem on Parker Road has been taken care of. The compactor may be in next week, the electrician was at the Transfer Station to check everything out, it will be 3 phase on one converter with a lock so that only one motor can be used at a time. The concrete pad should be taken care of next week also. Lynn reported that the Town radio was stolen from the suburban, discussion on this and the replacement followed. Lynn commented she needs some changes to her radio so it is FEMA ready. Lynn got combination locks for the Transfer Station and has received one quote for a snowplow. Lynn and Karl Acimovic met with contractors on Kucko Road; the bids for this will be opened at the Board meeting on 11/19/07.
OSHA was at Public Works for 4 hours, they signed off on everything. Lynn will e-mail a recap sheet.
SELECTMAN PATTON MOVED TO ADJOURN THE MEETING AT 5:45 P.M.
Selectman Lewis seconded the motion.
VOTE: 3 YES (ELDREDGE, PATTON & LEWIS) 0 NO
