BOARD OF SELECTMEN
SPECIAL MEETING JULY 23, 2007
TOWN OFFICE BUILDING immediately
following Senior Housing Project Committee
First Selectman Eldredge called the meeting to order at 6:35 P.M. with the following in attendance: Selectmen Patton and Lewis, L. Nicholls and residents.
The board signed bills and vacation slips from Public Works.
Lynn Nicholls asked the status of the chemical shed.
The two easements for the culvert on Tinkerville Rd. have been signed. Penny Hanley Howley must be notified so that both grantors are listed as “additional insured”. Lynn reported on Putnam Welding—they will finish bracing this week. Detour signs are up and two set of barriers. The only problem is that Charter and ATT haven’t moved their lines yet but neither saw a problem.
Ordering voting signs was discussed.
Lynn asked if she could get the boom holder welded by Putnam. First Selectman Eldredge asked her to check with the manufacturer regarding the repair. A window broke today on the tractor—she has already called for a replacement window.
Discussion was held regarding a letter from an employee—First Selectman Eldredge will discuss this at the next regular Selectmen’s meeting.
The incident report from Eileen Miller was given to the Selectmen.
Selectman Patton moved to adjourn the meeting at 6:52 p.m. Selectman Lewis seconded.
VOTE: ALL YES (ELDREDGE, PATTON & LEWIS).
Respectfully submitted,
Carol Noyes
Acting Secretary
Board of Selectmen
