Discussion and Approval of Interim Report:
Patrick Winslow submitted an email with updated information on shellfish area closures and the map showing the commercial and residential areas is incorrect.  In the acres section is should be 2.4 acres not 24 acres.

Section 5.1 Scoring Matrix, page 5-1 was discussed and how the scoring was done.  The table consists of wastewater loads, nitrates, septic systems within 100’ of a well, septic systems located where water table is <10’, % of systems that are I/A, and a total score.  Felix asked if the information presented is clear and what the committee wants to present.  Rowell felt that this was a good tool and would be useful for the Board of Health when considering possible new regulations.  The analysis of this matrix reveals that further study may require an alternative to on-site septic systems for wastewater treatment in the watersheds with higher numbers.

Comments from the public will be received through September 4, 2012 and then included in the plan.

CLF will provide a note taker at the meeting to document the meeting content and public comments.

Board Of Selectmen Meeting
Alex Hay will attend the BOS meeting to speak on the amendment to the contract from EPG and the motion of the committee to recommend a new committee to look further at the concept of composting toilets at the Bakers Field/Mayo Beach recreational use areas.

CLF Outreach Document
Comments from committee members were shared with Joanne so that she could revise the document.  The terms nutrient management or water quality management should be used instead of wastewater management in the document.  The final draft will be circulated prior to the August 20, 2012 public meeting.

Public Meeting on the 20th
Paul Gabriel will give an overview of the draft interim needs assessment and alternative report and Felix will discuss the oyster propagation project and Mayo Creek.
