Comprehensive Wastewater Management Planning Committee
November 30, 2010, 2:30 pm
Wellfleet DPW Conference Room
Present: Alex Hay, Ned Hitchcock, Bob Larson, Lezli Rowell, Andrew Petty, and Paul Millet and Paul Gabriel from EPG.
Chair Hay called the meeting to order at 2:37 pm. He stated the agenda was authored by EPG. The Committee is awaiting the MEP results. Hay stated the Committee is looking at data and science to back up their plans.
The Committee Priorities / RFP process was discussed. The committee is interested in research grant and loan outreach opportunities and grant money. There was discussion regarding putting together an informal public awareness program with an oyster demonstration. The Committee is extremely interested in receiving data on wells as well as data on existing I/A systems. EPG will present their Contractural Scope of Work at the next meeting and a meeting will be set up with DEP for their review of the Scope of Work. It was recommend integrating with the Shellfish Advisory Committee.
The next meeting is scheduled for January 11, 2011, 2:30 pm at the DPW building.
