Comprehensive Wastewater Management Planning Committee
October 5, 2010, 2:30 pm
Wellfleet DPW Conference Room
Present: Alex Hay, Curt Felix, Ned Hitchcock, Bob Larson, Lezli Rowell, Hillary Greenberg-Lemos, Christine Bates, Committee Secretary
Chair Hay called the meeting to order at 2:30 pm.
Meeting Minutes:
Bob Larson moved to approve the 9/7/10 meeting minutes; seconded by Ned Hitchcock; passed 3-0-2.
Lezli Rowell moved to approve the 9/21/10 meeting minutes as amended; seconded by Curt Felix; passed 5-0.
The committee held an informal discussion while reviewing the applications for the RFP. The tape recorder was turned off during this timeframe while the committee selected three applicants for interviews. Agent Greenberg-Lemos suggested each member come to the interviews with general and specific questions for each interview. The committee determined Friday, October 22, 2010 would be the best date for interviews to be scheduled at 1:00 pm, 2:30 pm and 4:00 pm. Monday, October 25, 2010 will be the alternate date for interviews, should there be conflicts. There will be no meeting on October 19, 2010.
Chair Hay and Curt Felix are the subcommittee for shell recycling. Alex Hay stated there is good momentum for the Oyster Fest weekend with NOAH, waste disposal companies, and other companies supporting the weekend. Curt Felix stated he could provide a calculation of carbon dioxide savings by recycling.
Bob Larson moved to adjourn at 3:45 pm; seconded by Ned Hitchcock; passed 5-0.
