Comprehensive Wastewater Management Planning Committee
August 3, 2010, 7:00 pm
Wellfleet Senior Center Conference Room
Present: Alex Hay, Lezli Rowell, Bob Larsen, Curt Felix, Ned Hitchcock
Guest: Paul Sieloff, Town Manager
The meeting was called to order at 7:07 pm. Acceptance of minutes for 7/20 was postponed until next meeting.
General discussion of need to move meeting time to regular business hours in order for Town staff to be available for consultation. Mr Sieloff suggested that we may be able to get secretarial help if we met during regular hours. It was moved and seconded to change the meeting time from 7:00 pm to 3:00 pm on the days previously scheduled. The next meeting will be Tuesday, August 17, 2010.
There was lengthy general discussion of the RFP for a program manager. The tension between what the committee thinks is important and relevant and what the commonwealth wants was discussed at length. Mr Sieloff joined in this discussion.
The committee moved into serious revision and editing of the most recent draft of the RFP. Mr Sieloff left the meeting as final editing continued. Mr Larsen moved approval of the revised draft, seconded by Mr Felix. The committee draft was emailed to Rex Peterson immediately after the meeting by Mr Felix. (The text of the RFP as released to the public can be found on the Town website.)
Mr Larsen moved adjournment, seconded by Mr Hay. The meeting adjourned at 9:20 pm.
