Minutes
Chairman Dale Donovan called the meeting to order at 9:30 a.m. Selectmen present included Michael May, Ira Wood, Helen Miranda Wilson and Jerry Houk. Town Administrator Tim Smith and Assistant Town Administrator Rex Peterson also attended.
Mr. Donovan explained the process for conducting interviews for Fire Chief. After conducting initial interviews today, the Selectmen will discuss the results at their next regular meeting on February 14. An assessment session has been scheduled for February 25 with possible second interviews on February 28. Background checks and contract negotiations would occur during March with an anticipated start date of April 1. Mr. Donovan emphasized that this schedule is subject to change based on interview and assessment results.
The Selectmen interviewed the following candidates for the Fire Chief position:
Daniel Silverman
David Swoyer
Michael Walker
Arthur Howe
William Abbott
The session ended at 3:30 p.m.
